In London wurden am 5. Juni die Heavy Music Awards verliehen.

Die Verleihung fanden im Londoner O2 Forum Kentish Town statt, live on stage performten  Beartooth, Holding Absence, Meet Me @ The Altar und Static Dress.

Abräumer des Abends waren die Architects, die sowohl den Preis für das beste Album als auch als beste UK Künstler abräumen konnten.

Freude auch aus deutscher Sicht, Electric Callbow wurden für ihr Video "Pump It" ausgezeichnet.
